ALL DIVISIONS – GENERAL RULES
Mufflers required. - 98 D.B. at 75 feet. Normal race and asphalt stockcar safety
rules apply. Note - D.B. level rule will be strictly enforced.
There will be Night Security on FRIDAY & SATURDAY NIGHTS.
LATE MODELS:
Entry Fee: $150.00 pre-paid by 9-24 (must be postmarked by that date)
Entry includes car & driver. After 9/24 entry is $200.00.
Tires: Must qualify and start main event on tires purchased only at Yakima Speedway.
Hoosier 30 Series tire, 3045 on the right side and 3035 on the left side.
No tire softening. 10-inch maximum steel wheels.
Approved stock appearing bodies, ABC (FIVE STAR OR ARP) or equivalent, installed to manufacturers measurements, down force bodies NOT allowed. 47" roof height.
Must have full rear bumper cover, see Yakima Speedway late model rule.
Tour engines, aluminum heads and roller cams must run 390 CFM carburetor. Carb must have 390 base plate, booster bar may be removed, booster length must be .700 minimum inside diameter of booster no larger than .480.
NO CAMBERED AXLE HOUSINGS.
NO TWO PIECE DRIVE FLANGES NO TAPER CUT AXLE SPLINES
Stock un-ported cast-iron heads, Stock Dart 200 heads and Platinum heads allowed. NOTE – A 15 cc. ALLOWANCE GIVEN OVER STATED VOLUME OF HEADS –
NO GM HEAD IS APPROVED EXCEPT THE SPEC BRODIX HEAD OVER 200 CC’S
Any 4 BBL carburetor.
Weights –
Brodix and approved steel heads allowed, open carb, flat tappet must weigh 2900 lbs with 58% left side.
Flat tappet camshafts weigh 2900 lbs.
Cast iron or Brodix heads with roller cams must weigh 3000 lbs. All at 58% left.
Tour engine – Tour aluminum heads, roller cam, 390 carb – 2900 lbs
Cast iron approved heads and Brodix spec heads – open carb, flat tappet cam – 2900 lbs.
Cast iron approved heads and Brodix spec heads – open carb, roller cam
– 3000 lbs.
Crate “604” motor – sealed and approved by local track rules – 650 cfm carb - 2650 lbs
NO EXHAUST PIPES LARGER THAN 4 INCHES ALLOWED.
Fuel shall not be blended with alcohol, ethers, or other oxygenates and shall not be blended with anine, or its derivatives, nitro compounds, or other nitrogen containing compounds. Limited to 1% per volume of alkines in fuel!!!!
Minimum ride height and body panels are 4 inches.
Rear spoilers cannot exceed 6 1/2 inches in height and 60 inches in width. Top of spoiler cannot be over 43” from ground.
Coil over cars maximum tread width of 65 1/2 inches.
Fab clip big spring 67 ½ inches.
Stock stub cars maximum tread width of 69 1/2 inches.
No engines larger than 360 cubic inches

STREET STOCKS:

Radios are not allowed.
Raceceivers mandatory. You may purchase one from the track $135.00 plus tax or rent one with purchase of earbuds for $18.00.
Tires: Goodyear 2863 on the right side and 2862 on the left side. - Must qualify and race main event on the same tire. (If you buy new tire please buy tires from Yakima Speedway to help support purse.)
No tire softening. 8" maximum steel wheels all the way around.
All Cars: Minimum wheelbase is 101 inches.
Cast-iron block, heads.
Aluminum intakes allowed.
No roller cams.
Engine must match front clip (Ford to Ford. GM to GM).
Must have full roll cage with door bars.
Minimum weight 3100 pounds (with driver). 56% left.
4 barrel carb allowed, No Demon or race engineered carbs allowed. Carb spacer 1” maximum.
Minimum ride height of 5 inches.
Rear spoiler cannot exceed width of car.
Minimum 5 inch springs.
Any stock rear end. No quick changes. No cambered rear ends. Bodies must be approved by Yakima Speedway officials.
After market noses and rear bumper covers allowed.
Weight jacks are not allowed.
Note: any car deemed by officials to not meet the intent of these rules will move the car up to the next class.
HOBBY STOCK:

Bodies must be OEM and remain stock except as listed. Aftermarket noses and tail sections allowed. Homemade doors may be used but must be built from steel no less than 20 gauge. No aluminum body panels. All holes in body caused by removal of lights etc. must be covered. Rear tail section must be covered, no holes or devices to funnel air out of the trunk area.
Rear window allowed.
Must have a full cage, with door bars.
Tires: P225 70 15 DOT, on all four (4) corners. 8 in maximum steel wheels only.
No recaps or tires designed for racing. DOT passenger tires only.
Tires may not be soaked, cut, grooved to change the design or hardness of the tire.
Minimum wheelbase 101 in.
Stock OEM V-8 engines only. Stock heads, no GM vortec or GM bowtie, 2 barrell cast iron intake only. Single carb only. Stock production O.E.M. 2 bbl. Carbs only. Carb must be O.E.M for engine.
OEM single disc clutch only.
Must have hydraulic camshaft.
No roller or roller tip rockers.
Must have approved fuel cell, mounted in safe manner.
Maximum exhaust shall be 2 1/4” OD. Exhaust pipes must extend past driver and exit between door and the rear tire.
Minimum weight is 3200 lbs. With 55% left side.
Stock open rear ends only. Ford 9 inch allowed. No truck or quick-change rearends allowed. No locked or welded rear-ends. Posi-traction, limited slip, tight side or spider gears not allowed. Rearend must rotate freely when turned by hand.
Max. 6” spoiler.
Min. frame height 6”.
No weight jacks.
Leaf spring cars will be allowed ladders and lowering blocks.
This class is designed for entry level, full bodied, V-8 powered cars, with full cage, door bars and fuel cell.
Any car, deemed by the officials, to not meet the intent of these rules, will be moved up to the next class.
